Hipsters take note – brewing your own beer is soo 2018.
Craft cannabis is on the rise and a new Queen West shop is tapping into the explosive market.
As of October 17th, 2018, the federal Cannabis Act specifies a residence can cultivate up to four plants — either indoors or out. The limit is based per household, so whether you live alone ( LOL with Toronto rent prices, yeah right) or with friends/fam, just remember only four plants are allowed.
That said, provincial governments, municipalities, and landlords or condo boards can set additional restrictions on where cannabis can be grown so be sure to double check the rules of your roost.
Dynasty Cannabis is the new sister shop of Dynasty Toronto located at 1086 Queen St West. Dynasty has been a staple succulents shop on Queen for years, selling some of the best tropical botanicals in the west end.
And while the new next-door neighbour can’t sell you pristine pot plants, they are gearing up to give you everything you’ll need for your own at-home grow.
The full kit costs $149.99 and can be purchased in-store or online. Sadly, seeds do not come included. Each kit contains:
- 6″ Ontario-handcrafted, lightweight, spun aluminum grow planter
- 100% organic, custom cannabis live soil
- Two seed starter discs
- Seven gallon outdoor grow bag
- ‘Hyperikon’ Grow Light Bulb
- Matte black glass spray bottle
- Limited edition large ‘Smoking Venus’ tote bag
Dynasty has also released a series of videos to guide you through the complete grow process – so really, at this point if you can’t grow some good bud maybe botany isn’t your calling.
The pop-up will close July 31 and the first 500 customers also get a free Ikea task lamp so chop chop.
